Pricing

Pay for finished shorts, not editor hours. Every plan is month-to-month and billed monthly in advance. Prices are in USD.

Start with a $199 pilot

$199, one time. Covers 3 standard shorts for 1 client brand.

  • Timing: First drafts of all three arrive within 5 business days after we accept your brief.
  • Revisions: 2 rounds per short.
  • Payment: By card, on an invoice, before work starts. There's no checkout on this site. We send the invoice after a short fit check.
  • Credit: The full $199 is credited against your first month of any plan if you subscribe within 14 days of the final pilot delivery.
  • Refunds: If we can't accept your brief (the footage is unusable or out of scope), we refund you in full before starting. Once editing has started, there's no refund.
  • Limit: One pilot per agency.

    How to start
Start a $199 pilotTell us you're applying for Scale.

Scale is by application.

Scale starts up to 10 new shorts a week. We accept a Scale account only once we've confirmed we have the capacity to serve it on time. Mention Scale in the pilot form and we'll tell you where things stand.

Custom reserved capacity

Talk to us — waitlist

Reserved weekly editing hours for larger agencies. We don't publish a price, and we won't sell it until we add capacity. To join the waitlist, say so in the message box on the pilot form.

Starting a plan without the pilot.

Starter and Growth don't require the pilot. We recommend it, but it's optional. Use the same form and tell us which plan you want. After a short fit call or email Q&A and a client-conflict check, we'll confirm a start date. If we're at capacity, we'll say so and offer a later one.

What counts as how many shorts

Some requests take more work than a standard short. This table shows how each one counts. When we accept a brief, we confirm the count before editing starts.

Conversion table: what counts as how many standard shorts
What you ask forCounts asIn plain words
A standard short1The unit described above.
A higher-complexity short2Any one of these makes it higher-complexity: a final length of 61–120 seconds; 16–45 minutes of footage to review; 3 or more camera angles or speakers; LOG color grading; a multi-scene UGC ad matched to a script.
Hook or CTA variations of an approved short1 per set of up to 3Up to 3 alternate openings or end cards on a short you've approved count as 1. Four to six count as 2.
An extra aspect ratio$15 add-onEvery short includes 2 aspect ratios. Each ratio beyond those 2 is $15.
Clip discovery from a long recording (we find the moments)1 per 30 minutes reviewed, plus 1 per clipWe watch the recording and pick the moments. If you send timestamps instead, each clip counts as 1.
Rush+1The first draft arrives the next business day, capacity permitting. Ask before 12:00pm CT. The rush adds 1 to the short's normal count.
Animation-heavy edits, 3D, scripted spots, long-form (over 2 minutes)Custom quoteOutside the plans. We quote these separately.
Filming, scriptwriting, strategy, publishing/posting, community managementNot offeredYour agency stays responsible for these.

Worked examples

Add-ons

  • Extra standard short: $110 on Starter, $95 on Growth, $90 on Scale. Extra shorts are scheduled within your weekly pace.
  • Extra client brand: $50 per brand per month. This covers upkeep of the brand's profile. Brand-profile setup is included.
  • Extra aspect ratio: $15 per ratio, per short, beyond the 2 included.
  • Project files on Starter: $25 per project, on request. They're included on request on Growth and Scale.
  • Rush: +1 short on top of the short's normal count, capacity permitting. Ask before 12:00pm CT.
  • Hook or CTA variations: 1 short per set of up to 3 alternate openings or end cards on an approved short.

What's not included

  • Filming, scriptwriting, strategy, publishing or posting, and community management. Your agency keeps these.
  • Advanced motion or animation-heavy edits, 3D, scripted spots and long-form video over 2 minutes. These are outside the plans and quoted separately.
  • Custom motion graphics in a standard short. Standard shorts use brand-profile text styles, a logo bug, an end card and up to 3 simple callouts.
  • LOG color grading in a standard short. A short that needs it counts as 2.
  • Finding moments beyond the footage you supply. We search only within your 15 minutes or your timestamped section. Clip discovery from a longer recording is counted separately.
  • Music licences. The music bed uses a licensed track your agency supplies, or it's left empty. Your licence needs to cover your client's use, including paid ads. We don't use CapCut's music library or audio downloaded from social apps for client work.
  • Licences for fonts, music or stock referenced in project files. You may need your own.

Billing and plan rules

  • Billing: We invoice on your start date each month, in advance, through Stripe. ACH bank debit is preferred, and cards are accepted. Prices exclude any applicable sales tax.
  • Term: Month-to-month.
  • Rollover: Unused standard shorts roll over for one month only, up to half your monthly allowance (Starter 6, Growth 12, Scale 20). After that month they expire. Rolled-over shorts still follow your weekly pace.
  • Pause: Once every 12 months, for up to one billing month. Give us 7 days' notice before your renewal date. Rollover balances are held during the pause.
  • Cancellation: Anytime. It takes effect at the end of the current paid month. Notice must reach us at least 7 days before your next billing date. There are no refunds for partial months. We complete any work in progress in your final month.
  • Upgrade: Takes effect immediately. We prorate the price difference and add the extra shorts pro rata for the rest of the cycle.
  • Downgrade: Takes effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Late payment: Work pauses when an invoice is 7 days overdue. Nothing is delivered on an unpaid pilot.
  • Service credit: If a first draft is more than 2 business days late for reasons within our control, you get 1 standard short credited next cycle. The cap is 25% of that month's shorts (Starter 3, Growth 6, Scale 10). This credit is our only remedy for late drafts. There are no cash refunds.

Pricing questions

Why do you charge per short, not per hour?

You sell your clients videos, not editor hours. A fixed count lets you quote your clients and know your cost per video. Tracking editor time is our job.

How do I know what a request counts as?

Check the conversion table above. When we accept a brief, we confirm the count before editing starts. If a request falls outside the plans, we tell you and quote it separately.

Do unused shorts roll over?

For one month only, up to half your monthly allowance: 6 on Starter, 12 on Growth, 20 on Scale. After that month they expire. Rolled-over shorts still follow your weekly pace.

Can I add shorts in the middle of a month?

Yes. Extra standard shorts are $110 on Starter, $95 on Growth and $90 on Scale. They're scheduled within your weekly pace.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately: we prorate the price difference and add the extra shorts pro rata for the rest of the cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Is there a long contract?

No. Plans are month-to-month. Cancel with at least 7 days' notice before your next billing date.

Why is Scale by application?

Scale starts up to 10 new shorts a week. We accept a Scale account only once we've confirmed we can serve it on time. Start with the pilot and tell us you're interested.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Brand-profile setup is included. Client brands beyond your plan cost $50 per brand per month.

How do I pay?

Plans are invoiced on your start date each month. ACH bank debit is preferred, and cards are accepted. The pilot is paid by card, on an invoice, before work starts. Work pauses when an invoice is 7 days overdue.

Do prices include sales tax?

No. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable sales tax.

Can we resell the work at our own price?

Yes. You set your clients' pricing. We don't see your client contracts, and we don't contact your clients.

What if we subscribe more than 14 days after the pilot?

Then the pilot credit no longer applies, and the pilot stays a one-time $199 purchase. The credit applies only to plans started within 14 days of final pilot delivery.

Test it on one client brand first.

3 standard shorts, 1 client brand, $199. The full amount comes off your first month if you subscribe within 14 days of final delivery.
